Never ever again will we use Ambre Langdown. She "handled" my mum's probate, after my dad passed away. And what should have taken months, took over 2 years to complete. Not returning calls, not following through with what she said she would do. And arriving at her office for appointments, to find the office was locked, and she wasn't there. Her lack of respect for my mum left me speechless. If I could leave a zero star review, I would. Be very aware.
For us dealing with Ambre at ACL LAW ended up turning into a bit of a nightmare. Our father past in early February. We contacted Ambre to get the process of probate underway. From there it was 5 months of phone calls that weren't returned and emails that were ignored. On one occasion when she did bother to respond she said she had sent out the relevant paper in the mail, which we never received. She then said she would email us the paperwork which we also never received. After 5 months of getting nowhere we decided to proceed with another law firm. For them to obtain the original copy of our father's will there was a further 2 and a half months of ignored phone calls, ignored emails and visits to her office where they were ordered out. Only after we threatened to complain to the QLD LAW Society did she finally hand over the will and we could proceed with probate. For us it felt like such a disrespectful way to honour our father and his legacy. We really hope others don't have to go through what we did.
If Ambre likes you things will go very well. If Ambre decides she does not like you things will go very unwell.
I first used ACL Law to assist me with a legal family agreement. Very thankful that I had Ambre to assist as she ensured that I was represented fairly. A successful outcome was achieved. I have also used Ambre to prepare my Will and EPA. On all occasions, Ambre has been very professional, quick to respond and get things done! I have already recommended her to several of my friends and family and will continue to as her service is fantastic and very reasonably priced.
Ambre did a fantastic job on mine and my wife's will and enduring power of attorney. She was extremely prompt, profession and explained everything in detail. Highly recommend her for estate planning and wills!
