Very thorough and helpful. These guys source lawyers who volunteer their time during evenings to help people with advice who aren't in a position to pay $500+ per hour for a lawyer. Was very impressed with the follow up call the following week also, was from a trainee lawyer and he provided me with good helpful information.
I was given a three hour window for my appointment, which seems reasonable. I have no suitable space to reasonably take the call, and make notes, so I paid money for a meeting room to be suitably prepared. I was called early, while I was driving. This was inconvenient, but I can understand them wanting to use any spare time to get ahead. When I finally did get to the room and set up, he openly attacked my case, on points that I was absolutely correct about, based on the documentation on the circle green website. None of the points that I considered important were given creedence, and the representative was argumentative about everything. I was asked to upload documents, and then had to wait about an hour for a call back. The person I was speaking to refused to answer my direct questions, and instead just wanted to give me unsolicited advice. I explicitly asked for help petitioning the magistrates Court, and was directly refused. It was incredibly infantilising, and ultimately, a massive waste of time and money. I legitimately don't understand what the goal of this institution actually is. I'd say find a different alternative, because I don't know what you could possibly hope to achieve when dealing with people like this
This legal service is dishonest and unreliable. They fail to follow through on their promises to call back and provide poor advice. Even their website does little more than create the illusion of offering help.
The lovely lawyers at circle green. We’re absolutely wonderful. For 5 months they gave me advice and helped with forms that needed to be done and were there for me if I needed to talk to them about anything. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I would not have been able to do what needed to be done without them. One very special lady. You were my back bone to keep moving forward. Another wonderful lady gave me the advice to carry it through. I thank you both. 🙂
