My first review - that’s how strongly I want to warn others! 0/5 is more appropriate. When I questioned CMS Legal about his poor Google reviews he blamed all the Reviewers! He took no responsibility at all. My opinion: CMS Legal is only in it for the money / profits - please don’t be sucked in by them pretending to care - they don’t! - they dropped me like a hot potato when they thought I wasn’t going to be good for the money!! They over charge too, so be very vigilant with your account. I had to question nearly every bill. CMS Legal also make mistakes, lots of them, but the client pays. Pays to have them fixed!! eg. proofreading, editing and paying for four drafts of a simple cut and paste document. Very unprofessional and disorganised. I lost count the number of times different solicitors had to step in and take over and I was charged for getting them up to speed with my case!! Cost me $26,000 and honestly nothing progressed, nothing was achieved. I changed firms and was astounded with their service, genuine concern, their professionalism and my outstanding, final outcome. Please just don’t go near CMS Legal!

I Have been represented by CMS for the last two years through a very complicated case between my ex partner and divorce proceedings. They have met my expectation and delivered on what I have asked. When going through the courts system it is important to note that submission of documents can equate to $1000's of dollars before any lawyer touches them so be prepared and don't expect a bargain when it comes to the court system. Its not a dollar dazzler sale and the prices are the same for everyone. My matter has been costly but not over the top and given the nature of my case it should have been but CMS have ensured at all times that the result and information transferring between parties was as requested and correct. My case has been handled well and I came from having nothing with my children to now having everything again. It is a long road through any matter, be prepared as you'll need to decide what's more important having a luxuries or your children back in you life? The rest CMS can handle for you

CMS Legal Family Lawyers failed to meet my expectations. First time I have dealt with lawyers and now the harsh jokes about lawyers really make sense. They are more interested in money than anything else. I really thought they would be experts in family court matters but that view was quickly diminished. I would be more than happy to pay top money but I believe their service was not worth it. There is a possibility the lawyer I was assigned is the reason my expectations were not met, but please choose carefully, just because they are at the top of google search and have 5 stars doesn't mean they are a good choice. Also quite skeptical about the 5 star reviews, all of them say 'google users' which seems odd, trust a review based on someone putting there name on it.

I lost total contact with my kids and had this company representing me. They were adamant I would have some sort of shared custody. I employed their services in 2011 to obtain official 50/50 custody of my 3 children only to come away with absolutely no custody and no contact whatsoever with my children and nothing has changed 2 years on. CMS didn't even fill out my Initiating Application to the courts correctly requesting the court for an Interim order to be made for me to have some sort of contact with my kids...BIG MISTAKE. My ex-husband was a liar, falsified affidavits to the court which I could prove were falsified so I made CMS Legal aware of this so it could be pointed out in court but they did nothing to make the courts aware which damaged my case further and cost me more when it came to financial settlement with my ex. I came away a broken hearted mother and broke in the hip pocket with no positive results, I would have stood a better chance bungling through the system representing myself.

Lack of communication or any sort of help from these useless unprofessional so called lawyers who just hand balled my partner from one unprofessional to another!! A email was sent to them notifying them that we no longer required their services and of course no response apart from the final $300 bill!! CMS Legal was the biggest waste of hard earned money!! 1 star is even too much for them!!
