Lady at the counter called everyone in the office and ask d if they spoke to me regarding an appointment fully knowing it was her I spoke to can't mistake the voice. Then was told No on was able to see me on that day. I completely understand people are busy and I turned up after a calling them first and informing them I was coming in. No offer for an appointment to be made. Go see others in Darwin. I only wanted advice and maybe a letter to be sent out to a person defaming my Current Company. I got it sorted via an Adelaide lawyer and he was amazing He made a call and boom. Didn't even need to send a letter and it was removed and even got a sorry from the person in question. I won't recommend this place to anyone. Felt judged and dismissed. Don't come here. Go elsewhere
REAL MEN AND WOMEN STAND BY YOU ON GOOD DAYS – AND STAND EVEN CLOSER ON BAD DAYS.... to the team David, Olivia, Eeasha and the supporting team members, my family has been a client and fan for years. More now than ever. Thank you!
I had the most unfortunate experience engaging with De Silva. I approached the law firm for them to review a service contract. It was relatively urgent and I expressed this to them which they say they could turnaround within the timeframe I needed as well as seeking for a written quotation. I accepted their quote based on these undertaking. In the end, they were unable to deliver the results within the timeline. Their solicitor was on leave was my understanding and not only that, the invoice was outside the quoted price range. When I received their invoice I wasn't happy. I wrote a few emails and there was back and forth. It didn't go anywhere. So I rang the office number and said if I can talk to the solicitor and left details of what it was about. I wrote a review of my experience online. About a week later, the Principal of the practice wrote a two page letter to my manager alleging I was rude on the phone which I was not and disputed that there was any mention of an urgent timeline. Due to how serious the Principal lawyer asserted on the letter , my manager directed me to remove the review and I was placed under investigation by my organization. Following their investigation, I was acquitted of their allegations and demonstrated I was right in the law firm not meeting the stated timeframe and overcharged. The law firm threatened me with defamation of my review. I know my rights and I still retain copies of the original emails to demonstrate my dispute with them was correct but they did not like my review of them which was an accurate account of my experience. Just a scary event.
