The lady at number 5 was incredibly helpful. She provided excellent customer service and demonstrated remarkable patience in resolving my issues. Although I had to wait for 1.5 hours, she efficiently took care of everything: transferring ownership, renewing my registration, and transferring my interstate driver's license to the NT. I'm grateful for her thorough assistance.
I waited 2.5 hours to renew my driving licence, my only option given that I qualified for a concession. The room was packed, with insufficient seating. While there is a queuing system by ticket, the strange codes generated are not transparent to users, so you really can't track just how long you will wait before your turn comes; I saw many people simply give up in frustration. Generally there is a lack of appropriate, official information on site, even to the extent that you need to ask for the location of public toilets (outside). On a positive note, Eva at counter 3 was absolutely wonderful, effective and helpful, while the friendly young security guard was a useful source of information clearly beyond the requirements of his job. Overall though, the system is a disastrous mess that will only be improved with the hiring of more staff and greater transparency.
I visited MVR Parap today and unfortunately had very bad experience with a staff member, his name is Don. He provided me with a lot of wrong information and was very rude in his manner. His behavior was extremely disappointing, and I truly hope that upper management will teach him how to provide proper customer service. He is not suited for this position and is damaging the good reputation of MVR Parap. However, I then had the pleasure of speaking with Helen, who was a complete contrast. She was kind, professional, and resolved all of my issues quickly and efficiently. Helen’s exceptional customer service made a huge difference, and I’m very grateful for her help. Thank you, Helen, for your outstanding service. I hope you continue to thrive and bring positive change to the customer experience at MVR Parap!
I know, being a corporate drone is exhausting and being disconnected from your soul is a life-draining existence, but the man at counter 9 was confronting, rude, and made what would be a very easy process, ridiculously hard and lengthy. People aren’t born cruel and hateful, this man needs to re-connect with his heart and figure that maybe working at the MVR isn’t for him.
The lady who helped me yesterday on counter 5 was very helpful and efficient and the security guard was also very helpful and friendly . The person on desk 5 helped me getting my licence changed over and registering a car that I bought at an auction. I hadn’t got all the forms filled out on arrival and she was patient to assist me in getting them all filled and processed. Thank you
